In its place, this: I had a rather productive chemistry laboratory class today. In it, I learned the rudimentary process of glass blowing, remembered how much (and why) I despise working with lab partners (at least those who are whiny, expect me to automatically be all-knowing about something I've never done before, and rush me through steps before I'm entirely ready), and melted a good portion of my $90 graphing calculator with acetone. I rinsed it as well as I could with deionized water afterwards, but...there's only so much a person can do once that kind of damage has be done. It seems to still work, thankfully. The buttons stick horridly, but it can still compute adequately. We'll see if that changes once it finishes drying out. Ugh. Good job, Min.


My literature professor and his entire family apparently had the H1N1 virus (aka "Swine Flu") over the weekend. They're all doing okay now, but who knows if he was contagious in class before that? Noooo~ >.< I cannot afford to become deathly ill right now, especially with the paying clinic study coming up, and with the little one at home. Agh. Not good.

And I think my cat may have caused me to become sick--which makes sense, as I was basically crawling around on my hands and knees in excrement for a good couple of hours last night. My stomach is killing me. Aaah. Day is going amazingly well, yes it is.

Oh well. This too will come to pass. It's not nearly as bad as it could be.
